What's Good Should Long Live.

At The.Second.Day, we design garments to live with you — season after season, year after year. If a piece ever fails due to a fault in materials or craftsmanship, we’ll make it right.

What’s Covered:

  • Failures in stitching, material, or construction

  • Functional issues due to normal, respectful wear

  • Loose seams, torn pockets, or defects in hardware

What’s Not Covered:

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or neglect

  • Wear from extreme conditions or improper washing

  • Alterations or repairs made by a third party

  • General fading, softening, or shaping that comes with years of wear

We believe garments should age gracefully — just like their owners. A little patina is part of the story, not a flaw. But if there's a bit too much patina, we can repair it for you.

Our Repair Promise:

We personally know the artisans who cut and sew your clothing — so in many cases, we can repair the piece ourselves.
You have two options:

1. Local Repair
We’ll send you a matching fabric patch. You pay shipping and take it to your tailor.

2. Send it to Us
We’ll handle the repair at no cost. You cover shipping to us; we’ll send it back, fully restored.

A Note on Care & Responsibility

All of our fabrics are tested under the conditions outlined in our care instructions. Shrinkage, discoloration, or premature wear resulting from neglect, improper washing, or high-heat drying are not covered under our Lifetime Guarantee.

Following the care instructions isn’t just about preserving your piece — it’s about honoring the craftsmanship behind it. Treat it with the same intention we put into making it.

Final Notes:

We prefer you clean the garment before sending.

We evaluate every repair request with care. If you’re unsure, email us first with a photo.

We're committed to standing by our work — and walking beside you, for the long haul.
